SHAOKE participates in the first Dragon Boat Festival in Frankfurt

SHAOKE’s global team from our offices across Europe and China recently took part in the inaugural Dragon Boat Festival in Frankfurt, Germany. This event was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate an ancient Chinese tradition and foster international friendship.

A Dragon Boat Race is a storied Chinese custom, dating back over 2,000 years. Teams paddle in long, narrow boats decorated to resemble dragons, competing vigorously on the water. The Frankfurt Dragon Boat Festival celebrated the friendship between Germany and China, featuring traditional Chinese Hanfu parades, a vibrant Lion Dance, and delicious Chinese street food.

The festival saw 500 participants from 20 teams, representing schools, clubs, and companies, racing on the Frankfurt Main River. Our own SHAOKE team put in a commendable performance, finishing 9th out of 20 boats—a notable achievement for our first participation.

In addition to the race, we hosted an exhibition stand to showcase our company. This sparked many interesting conversations and was an excellent platform to introduce our services and engage with potential partners and customers. The festival was an excellent chance to build new relationships and strengthen existing ones in one of our key markets.

Overall, the Dragon Boat Festival was a tremendous success, and we’re already looking forward to participating in next year’s edition!
