A customs officer will review the X-ray images and either release the container, or escalate it to either a\u00a0Tail Gate exam\u00a0or an\u00a0Intensive exam. \u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How long does an X-ray exam take?<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>X-ray exams usually take 1-3 days, but exam timelines may vary according to congestion at the port.
