{"id":3634,"date":"2022-12-01T13:44:33","date_gmt":"2022-12-01T13:44:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/shaoke.com\/?post_type=glossary&#038;p=3634"},"modified":"2022-12-01T13:47:47","modified_gmt":"2022-12-01T13:47:47","slug":"cfs-container-freight-station-cut-off","status":"publish","type":"glossary","link":"https:\/\/shaoke.com\/zh\/glossary\/cfs-container-freight-station-cut-off\/","title":{"rendered":"CFS (Container Freight Station) Cut-off"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A CFS cut-off is the date that an LCL shipment needs to be checked in the CFS for the shipment to make its sailing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is a CFS cut-off?&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A CFS cut-off is the date by which an&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.flexport.com\/glossary\/less-than-container-load\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">LCL (Less than Container Load)<\/a>&nbsp;shipment needs to be checked in to a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.flexport.com\/glossary\/container-freight-station\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CFS (Container Freight Station)<\/a>&nbsp;to meet its scheduled sailing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>LCL shipments will be consolidated into a container at a CFS before being loaded onto the vessel.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If an LCL shipment is not delivered to the CFS by the cut-off date, the shipment will not meet its scheduled sailing.
